One of Swedens most famous inventors Håkan Lans will attend the event. At 1500 he will be on stage to answer question and give a brief talk.

The folkrace track getting built, smaller adjustments layouten
The folkrace track is under construction, see pictures below. Some minor changes to the layout. The “grus” can be seen in the middle below and “gupp” means “bump” but is not on picture yet.

The folkrace track is official, remote start module is mandatory
A simplified drawing of the folkrace track is now available under the rules page. It is also mandatory to use the remote start module in this class as well. Please see the rules page for more info. These modules will be possible to order in connection to the registration form.

Register interest in competing at STHLM Robot Championship 2012
On November 10th, highly skilled autonomic robot constructors meet again on Tekniska museet, bringing their autonomous robots to compete in the yearly Stockholm Robot Championship.
The competion has three main events, robot sumo, line following, folk-race as well as freestyle/exhibition.
In the competition, hobby robot builders, students and professional robot builders meet to see their constructions fight each other in tough tournaments. There will be one-to-one fighting as well as death match fighting (all against all) as well as multi-entrant racing.
To win you need to find a balanced performance between optimal mechanics, eletronics and controlling software, and it must be within the constraints on size and weight. Many of the best robot builders in Sweden parfticipated in last years tournament on Tekniska Museet.
Visitors will also find this an exciting day. Competitions are fast paced and intensive, commented live and projected on large screen. There will also be opportunities for visitors to try programming the robots of Tekniska Museet.
Also, exhibitions from schools and companies will showcase interesting robot constructions.
